When the bank suspects fraud or money laundering activity. There is cumulative annual transaction limit of Rs 2 Lakhs on ki cash account. If this amount is exceeded in 12 months, the bank will call you to verify your KYC. If this KYC verification process by Bank fails, then the account will get frozen.
Also, the Bank will send you a debit card kit with your account details to your Aadhaar address. If the debit card is returned due to non-delivery and the customer is not found at the given address, the account will be frozen. The Bank will call the customer to verify KYC in such a case, and then the account can be unfrozen with the verification process.
Also, if there are any unpaid debts, creditors can get the bank to freeze your account to satisfy your obligations. To do so they will need to fetch the approval from the courts before taking such action.

Yes, there will be an expiry date mentioned on both the physical and virtual debit card. A new debit card request can be placed on the ki cash app once the existing card is about to expire or already expired as instructed below.
